About Sav

Savannah “Sav” Maive is a theater and film artist based in San Antonio, with experience primarily as an actor, writer, director, producer, and dramaturg.

She lost her baby teeth (and unfortunately some adult teeth as well) growing up in the Adirondacks in Upstate New York. Her wisdom teeth were removed in Central Virginia, where she attended high school and ultimately earned a B.A. in Drama from the University of Virginia.

Sav was awarded the 2020 Delauney Prize for Playwriting and her first short film “Community of Trust” was selected to screen at the 2019 Poe Film Festival in Richmond, Virginia. Her most recent film, “Evil on Air,” was screened locally last September at Flix Brewhouse with Production Club SA.
